About This Spot

Stepping into Las Patronas Mexican Food feels like entering a warmly familiar neighborhood haven, where the rhythm of the day slows just enough to savor moments and flavors alike. Sunlight filters softly through vibrant decorations, mingling with the lively hum of conversation and the inviting scent of freshly made tortillas and grilled meats drifting from the kitchen.

This family-run spot is a cozy refuge where genuine smiles meet attentive care, making you feel less like a guest and more like part of a spirited community gathering. The atmosphere is comfortably unpretentious—bustling yet relaxed, peppered with the occasional laughter and the clinking of glasses filled with zesty mango cheladas or richly spiced margaritas.

At Las Patronas, dining is an experience shaped by the textures and colors of each plate, from the crisp freshness of ceviche to the satisfying sizzle of carne asada tacos. Seafood offerings carry subtle hints of the coast, while inventive twists like their sushi rolls echo a playful melding of cultural influences. Here, every bite tells a story: of recipes passed down, of care woven into every preparation, and of the joy found in sharing food that feels made just for you.

Whether you linger over a hearty molcajete or stop by for a casual weekend mojarra al mojo de ajo, the pace invites savoring rather than rushing. It’s a place where the kind of simple pleasures—the warmth of good service, the hum of familiar surroundings, the comfort of authentic flavors—come together to root you in the moment.

This was my first time coming here and let me say it did not disappoint!! The lady that greeted us was sooo sweet and attentive!!! But the best part was the food the tacos were amazing!! The margaritas were delicious as well…. We loved it so much I’m so happy to know they offer catering! I plan on getting birria for my next function!!

Las Patronas Mexican Food at 150 W Highland Ave in San Bernardino is a true hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. This cozy, family-run spot instantly welcomes you with its warm vibe, vibrant decorations, and the mouthwatering aroma of fresh handmade tortillas and sizzling meats wafting through the air. The service here is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely heartfelt. The staff treats you like family, with quick refills, helpful recommendations, and a smile that makes every visit feel special. They handle the crowds smoothly, never rushing you, which perfectly matches their claim of offering "the most friendly customer service." The menu is packed with classics: street tacos, enchiladas, birria, pozole, chilaquiles, and more. But the absolute standout is their delicious sopes! These thick, crispy-yet-tender masa bases are loaded with refried beans, your choice of juicy carne asada or pollo, fresh lettuce, crumbled cheese, creamy sour cream, and their flavorful homemade salsa. Every bite delivers the perfect balance of savory, crunchy, and tangy—hands down the best sopes I've had in the Inland Empire.

The service is AMAZING! Their customer service is exceptional. There's a good variety of seafood, Mexican/American dishes and Paisa style Sushi. Love coming here.
